👎 I waited a week before writing this review so I could reflect on our stay at Can Cosmi Prats and try to understand what went wrong. I chose this hotel as a place to reunite with two old friends because it looked peaceful and relaxing. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but. When we arrived, we were informed that a stomach virus had been affecting both staff and some guests. As a parent, I understand that illnesses happen, but it naturally made us feel uneasy. The following morning, we saw one of the owners—who had reportedly been sick the night before—working and serving breakfast, which increased our concerns. But we kelp quiet but was hard to enjoy breakfast. That first night, I became ill with a gastrointestinal problem and was barely able to eat during the two breakfasts we had at the hotel. While I cannot say for certain that my illness was related, the timing certainly added to our discomfort. On our second morning, my two friends and I arrived at breakfast a few minutes apart and each ordered something different. We were simply ordering as we arrived and had no intention of being difficult. The owner, who was serving our table, appeared increasingly irritated. Then, after my friend politely asked for a coffee with hot milk, he suddenly began shouting at us. He accused us of having "bad energy" and told us to leave his hotel. We were completely shocked because nothing had happened that could justify such a reaction. My friend calmly replied that he was being rude, but there was no aggressive behavior or argument from our side. We tried to de-escalate the situation and understand what the issue was, but he continued insisting that we leave immediately. Several members of the staff apologized to us for what had happened, which made us feel that even they recognized the situation was inappropriate.
